Q. What does it cost to convert my
data?
A. Please email sales@globalvet.co.za to receive our current price list.
Q. What data is actually converted?
A. There are five things that we are typically
able to convert: Client information, Patient
information, All patient medical/treatment
history, Treatment list and your Inventory
list. There may, however, be specific items
of data within a certain area, for some
systems, that we would not be able to convert.
Q. What is the turn-around time for me
to receive the converted data?
A. In general, we are able to have the converted
data sent back to you within 4 weeks.
This time depends on several factors such
as, how many conversions our staff is currently
performing and whether a good backup was
received. Occasionally we will receive a
backup of data that is on media that is
damaged or the data itself has been corrupted.
Q. Will information that I enter into GlobalVet
be overwritten when I install the converted
data?
A. Yes, when you install the first pass
converted data, all client, patient, medical
history, treatment and inventory list data
will be overwritten. When we send you your
first pass conversion, we will contact you
to discuss what things can be entered into
the system that will not be overwritten
with the final pass.
